Feijoa Helmets

Ingredients:

6 Feijoas
2 Lemons
2 ½ Cups of sugar
3 Cups of water

To cook:

Cut the feijoas in half and take the seeds out with a small spoon. Place the feijoa helmets in a plastic recipient with the water and the lemon juice. Take it to the cooler for 2 hours. Mix the seeds with a cup of water and the sugar. Take the mixture to high fire until forming a light syrup. Add the feijoa helmets to the syrup. Cook during 8 minutes. Let it cool and serve decorated with pieces mango.
