The Higo's
skin can be peeled with a knife and the fruit is consumed
raw; it is also delicious when cut in slices to be used
along with other fruits for fruit salads or also to make
sauces. Although the thorns of the fruit are previously
removed, it is recommended to clean the fruit with a
kitchen cloth before being peeled. |
