Tamarillo Dessert

Ingredients:

4 Tamarillos
4 Cups of water
1 Cup of sugar
1 Tablespoon of lemon juice
Cinnamon as needed

To cook:

Peel the tamarillos, leaving them the stem; cook them in 2 cups of water with the sugar until they soften, approximately 20 minutes. Take them out of the water. In a recipient, pour the remaining water with the sugar and cook at low temperature until obtaining a syrup. If you wish, you could add cinnamon. Add the tamarillos to the syrup and leave them at a low temperature during 4 minutes. Finally add the lemon juice and serve.
